Social Studies
Our Social Studies curriculum is designed to help students develop a deeper understanding of historical events, cultural diversity, and global perspectives. Science
Science education at Cornerstone Achievement Center aims to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning experiences. Our students explore scientific concepts, conduct experiments, and develop a passion for scientific inquiry, setting the stage for future academic and career success.
Language Arts
Exploring literature and the arts is an enriching experience for our students, allowing them to express creativity, interpret diverse perspectives, and develop strong communication skills. Through language arts, students engage in literary analysis, creative writing, and artistic expression, fostering a love for language and storytelling.
Physical Education
Physical education is an essential component of our holistic approach to education. Through structured physical activities, sports, and wellness programs, students develop physical fitness, teamwork skills, and a positive attitude towards an active lifestyle, promoting overall well-being and a healthy mindset.
Music Therapy
Included in your student's experience at Cornerstone is a weekly one-one and group time with a certified music therapist. Music therapy is an excellent opportunity to practice communication skills, following directions, social skills, and is just plain fun. Our students look forward to their time each week and have. Music therapy is proven to activate parts of the brain involved in communication and relaxation.
Speech Therapy
Courtney Willis is a Speech and Language Pathologist practicing in Dallas, TX. She holds a B.S. in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and M.S. in Communication Disorders from The University of Texas at Dallas. Her primary areas of practice are Autism Spectrum Disorder, Apraxia and Motor Speech Disorders. Courtney visits CAC twice weekly and is available if families are interested in adding speech services.
